哈纳斯东、西部热电厂均位于银川市区内，生活、交通便利。 西部热电厂是宁夏首个热电冷联产示范项目，一期已于2009年投运 ，二期扩建装机容量223MW，东部热电厂装机容量4×223MW， 均将于2012年投运。东 、西部热电厂由华北电力设计院总承包，美国柏诚公司进行设计优化，主要设备选用德国西门子公司SGT5-2000E燃气轮机及国内外知名品牌 ，并与西门子公司签订了国内第一个主机长期维护协议 和运行与维护管理协议， 全面引进西门子公司先进的管理理念和模式，必将实现资源的最佳配置和建设一支高素质的运维管理团队。
Both Hanas East and West Power Plants are located in Yinchuan City with convenience of transportation and livelihood. West Thermal Power Plant is the first Ningxia CCHP demonstration project; it''s first stage was put into operation in 2009; the installed capacity of second stage will be 223MW. East Thermal Power Plant will have an installed capacity of 4 × 223MW. Both East and West (Second stage) will be put into operation in 2012. East and West Thermal Power Plants are designed and constructed by North China Electric Power Design Institute and optimized by Parsons Brinckerhoff; Gas turbines are Germany''s Siemens SGT5-2000E. Both Plants have signed Long-term Maintenance Contract (the first in China) and Operation & Maintenance Management Contract with Siemens. Hanas will introduce an advanced management ideas and style from Siemens to achieve a great natural and human resource distribution and to set up a high-level operation & maintenance management group. Siemens will provide professional technique and language training opportunity abroad for recruited staff.
