楼层主管 Floor Supervisor
The incumbent in this position is responsible for supervising the cleaning and maintenance operations on the floors assigned to him/her. Depending on occupancy and number of supervisors available, may have up to 3 floors assigned to him/her with 2-3 room attendants working on each floor. Each room attendant has to clean guest rooms, corridors and pantries and other common service areas in accordance with the procedures and standards established by the hotel and the supervisor controls all work carried out in these areas.
Supervises the work of room attendants, ensures that all guest rooms and adjacent areas and corridors are maintained to the highest standard of cleanliness and repair. Oversees that occupied rooms are cleaned according to guest’s instructions and that check out rooms are serviced ****d on the arrival time of the next guest.
Controls room attendants’ work during turn-down service and makes regular spot checks. Actively participates in turn-down service for VIPs
Inspects occupied and vacant guest rooms daily and takes necessary corrective measures in order to meet the Kempinski standards in terms of cleanliness, maintenance and supplies.
Checks that housekeeping equipment is handled and maintained properly.
Carries out on the job training and is responsible for grooming and conduct standards of the room attendants under his/her responsibility.
Motivates employees to bring about excellent performance. Participates actively in the annual appraisal of employees’ performance.
Ensures that all records relevant to his/her responsibilities, i.e. furniture movement, cleaning schedules, etc. are kept accurately, up-to-date and available.
Verifies that pantries are equipped with all the necessary items needed in servicing guestrooms, and that proper control is practiced to reduce expenses.
Signs in/out master keys and mobile phones in the housekeeping office and ensures that all keys of his/her area(s) are returned.
Keeps himself/herself informed of hotel products, services and events in order to answer guest questions.
Participates actively in quarterly linen stock-takes.
Answers all guest questions/requests in a friendly and caring manner, takes appropriate **** or – if needed –refers the matters to the relevant persons to handle.
At the end of the shift, carries out proper handover, i.e. reporting guests with special attention, room status discrepancies, unusual situations, incidents that need follow up, to ensure consistency and guest satisf****. Handovers are passed verbally to colleagues as well as in writing into the log book.
Assists in scheduling general cleaning during periods of low occupancy.
Promotes all practices which help protecting the environment.
Carries out all other duties assigned to him/her by management.
